Lethbridge Family Services has all kinds of public events and community collaborations throughout the year where you can get out and mingle with the Lethbridge community! World Refugee Day, Teddy Bear Picnic, and charity barbecues are just a few examples of events we’ve hosted in the past. Check back to this page for updates about what’s upcoming!

Lethbridge & District Exhibition 50/50

We're thrilled to be the charitable partner for the 2024 Lethbridge & District Exhibition 50/50 Lottery!

This means that every 50/50 ticket purchased this summer at Farmers Markets and Whoop-Up Days will support LFS and our many initiatives and projects!

Want to help sell tickets? Please sign up and tell your family and friends! There’s no cash to handle—just hold a tablet, chat with folks, help them buy tickets electronically, and brag about the amazing work LFS does in our community!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Volunteers report to Lethbridge & District Exhibition, 3401 Parkside Dr S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4R3

  • Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older (AGLC Licensing Act requires anyone selling or buying lottery tickets to be 18+ years of age)

  • Please note that volunteering for the 50/50 is demanding

  • Must be able to learn and operate electronic 50/50 technology

  • Volunteers will be given tickets to attend Whoop-Up Days for that same day

  • Everyone, including volunteers, may purchase 50/50 tickets
