James and Mike, Lethbridge Transit

James (left) and Mike (right) are our friends from Lethbridge Transit who help newcomers learn about our local transit system. "The scariest part of transit is walking in the door. If we can get folks in the door we're golden!" says James.

Newcomers can join a free-of-charge bus orientation day alongside Lethbridge Transit staff, LFS Immigrant Services staff, and interpreters. The bus spends a day exploring routes relevant to each and every newcomer family aboard, so they can learn how to travel between the places important to them.
