On the last Friday of every month, Lethbridge Sport Council, Recreation Excellence Lethbridge, and Lethbridge Family Services Immigrant Services will host a women and girls only swim program.

This program will provide a safe and designated space for women and girls the opportunity to participate in active recreation and learn how to swim, when they may not otherwise be able to do so.

The program is targeted to those new to Canada, but is open to any women and girls who are interested.

The first 35 attendees will be admitted at no cost. For those arriving after the first 35 participants, there will be a $4 fee. All children under three years old may attend for free.

The Women and Girls Only swimming program runs the last Friday of every month from 3 pm to 4:30 pm at the Stan Siwik Family Swimming Pool.
